About the association

The Quebec Brewers Association (QBA) has represented the major Quebec brewers since 1943. Created to promote its members’ interests to government agencies and industry stakeholders, the Association also sets up  roundtable discussions for its members on subjects and issues that affect the industry. The depth of its experience and expertise have made the Association the main voice of the Quebec brewing industry.

Since it was created, the QBA has witnessed first-hand the spectacular evolution of the brewing industry, both at home and abroad. Today, the QBA has three members; the Labatt Brewing Company, Molson Coors and Sleeman Unibroue, Quebec’s three largest brewers. Thanks to the variety of their portfolios – including about 375 brands – the QBA’s members account for almost 94% of Quebec beer sales.
